Probably one of the most successful and adventurous projects we’ve ever worked on – the 2011 season campaign for the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. As you can see, this whimsical idea using just coloured gaffer tape and creativity is a witty way to portray the players’ personalities and their musical roles.
The campaign was rolled out onto season brochures, as well as tube posters and banners at London’s Southbank Centre. Classical music lovers from Italy to Iowa blogged about the gaffer tape campaign. One of our favourite quotes was from an opera blogger in Italy who commented, “…outsider art meets home depot”. We couldn’t have put it better ourselves. Photography by Eric Richmond.
