We’ve designed another season campaign for the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. This year’s theme is all about protest – going back to the OAE’s roots as a radical, status-quo-busting group of musicians, pioneering period performance and determined to run the Orchestra themselves. In our ‘True Sound, True Music’ campaign we’re taking a stand against manufactured pop, ‘talent’ competitions, and violinists emerging from the sea in scanty frocks. But it’s also a stand for everything we hold dear – authentic sound, thoroughly rehearsed and researched concerts, and performances full of passion, teamwork and energy. Above all, we hope the campaign and images are visually arresting and also, in true OAE style, fun. Photography by the hugely talented Eric Richmond.
