We’re excited to break the news on a secret project we’ve been working on. Brighton & Hove Bus Company asked us to think of an inventive way to increase the numbers of occasional bus users. We didn’t think a traditional poster and leaflet campaign was going to cut it, so we turned our attention to one of the biggest moving billboards in the city – the bus itself. To increase awareness and bus usage, our strategy was to create a visual link between the bus routes and the vibrant destinations around Brighton & Hove where they take you. We decided to redesign a bus to bring that strategy to life in a uniquely memorable way. We also needed an anchor for the strategy, so we branded the idea “Get Bus(y)” and wrote a no-nonsense call to action, “Get on. Go somewhere.” We did this project with destination marketing experts, Blue Sail and interior design gurus, Materialise Interiors.
